PNP DRUG ENFORCEMENT GROUP (PNP DEG), CAMP BGEN RAFAEL T CRAME, QUEZON CITY – Operatives of SOU-3 PNP DEG under the direct supervision of PBGEN ARMANDO S DE LEON, Director, PNP DEG with the elements of Southern Police District led by PMAJ HENRIX BANCOLETA conducted a buy-bust operation on October 14, 2020 at around 6:32 PM at Cre8 Salon 156 Don Bosco, Parañaque City which resulted in the seizure of more or less 12 kilograms of suspected Methamphetamine Hydrochloride commonly known as SHABU with Standard Drug Price of Php 81.6 million and the arrest of the following personalities:
1. Suboh Omal Abdul, male, 29 years old, Filipino, resident of Lot 24, Block 2, Valdez St. Brgy Upper Bicutan, Taguig
2. Alvin Abdul Amiril, male, 40 years old, Filipino, resident of Lot 23, Block 2, Valdez St. Brgy Upper Bicutan, Taguig
This is a result of a stringent casing and surveillance operation conducted by the elements of SOU-3 led by PLT MARLON J CALUAG after an information was provided to the law enforcers. Thus, after the arrest, another follow-up operation was immediately conducted after revealing the identity of the alleged supplier and was convinced to made another delivery of the alleged illegal drugs. Thereby, few hours after, a delivery was made at the vicinity of Waterfun, Taguig which resulted to another confiscation of more or less 18 kilograms of suspected Methamphetamine Hydrochloride commonly known as SHABU with Standard Drug Price of Php 122.4 million and the arrest of the alleged supplier named, Ebrahim E. Dimakiling, male, 33 years old, on line seller, Filipino and a resident of 05 L12 B66 P-9, Zone 4, Manggahan Western Bicutan, Taguig City.
Seized from the abovementioned operations were more or less 30 kilograms of shabu with an estimated standard drug price of PHP 204,000,000.00. The arrested suspects are presently under custody of SOU3, PNP DEG while criminal complaints for violations of RA 9165 are being prepared for filing before the Prosecutor’s office.
This operation was the 7th major operation conducted by PNP-DEG since the country started battling the COVID-19 pandemic.
PBGEN DE LEON said “DEG personnel’s drive in combating illegal drugs is still high as we never be complacent in our sworn mandate into our organization and our sworn duty to the community”.
On the other hand, PGEN CAMILO PANCRATIUS P CASCOLAN, Chief, PNP commended the operating troops and said that the PNP will continue its unwavering efforts to eradicate illegal drugs in the country.
